Non-Destructive Testing

Non-Destructive Testing — ASTM E1444 & E1417

Verified before it ships — magnetic particle and liquid penetrant inspection on our floor, to the current revisions.

Inspection in-house

A rebuilt component is only worth what it can be shown to be. We inspect here rather than shipping work out for verification, which keeps the loop between finding a defect and doing something about it short.

Methods

Magnetic Particle Inspection

Surface and near-surface defect detection on ferromagnetic components, performed to ASTM 1444 as revised.

Liquid Penetrant Inspection

Surface-breaking defect detection on non-porous components, performed to ASTM 1417 as revised.
